Laser Vision

This is a video showing some testing I am doing with various scripts trying to get guns to work attached to the stock C-130. Game is Armed Assault 2. So far I’ve: -reskinned the aircraft (95% finished) -used attachTo entries on the guns made by rjtwins -used remoteControl to control one of the guns -attached an invisible gunner to the approximate location of the FLIR/ALLTV eyeball Direct control of the guns is possible through team switching, but you can’t control the aircraft and you can’t see (because you are inside the aircraft). Also, the AI have a tendency to swing the weapons to the inside of the aircraft, even if you turn off all AI functions. Next idea: Make a single tank-like weapon with 4 turrets (GAU, Bofors, 105mm, eyeball (gunners view)) in Oxygen able to be controlled by one gunner. Then attach that to the C-130 chassis. Then just hit F to switch from weapon to weapon with the same gunners view for each. With this setup, I can limit the slew of each weapon, I can use one soldier to control three guns, I can attach a laser designator to the eyeball, and I can hook up IR views and night vision views to that same eyeball. This would be easier if I knew anything about using Oxygen and configuring multi-weapon platforms. I’m not even sure it’s possible to control multiple turrets from a single gunner position.
